Miss Missouri Volunteer is an official preliminary of Miss America Volunteer. During her year of service, she will collaborate with community members across the state to build her platform and hone her communication skills. She must be able to work with diverse communities from all parts of the state and recognize the racial, socioeconomic, etc. needs of all audiences she is speaking to at all times. Our dedicated board members are here to inspire her with a rich experience that will serve as a catalyst for success!

Stages of Competition:

Miss Missouri Volunteer is comprised of five stages of competition; four during preliminary competition and on-stage question for top five finalists only.

  • Interview - 25%

  • Talent - 25%

  • Evening Gown - 25%

  • Fitness & Wellness - 25%

  • Onstage Question - Top 5 Finalists

 Pageant Details:

Contestant Requirements:

  • Contestants must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the state pageant and must not be older than 26 on the date deposit is paid and tile is assigned.

  • Contestants must have completed high school.

  • Contestants must be unmarried nor have ever been married.

  • Residency: Be a resident or full-time employee in the state of Missouri. Be a full-time student at an accredited college or university in the state of Missouri.

  • Specific details about age, residency, education requirements and more are in the Official State Contestant Agreement.

Secure your title for the early bird price before August 31st before the price increase! Price for new contestants prior to August 31st is $400 and $350 for returning titleholders. Paying your deposit by August 31st locks in the early bird price

Registration is $450 and includes; local title and sash, Miss Missouri Volunteer official red carpet arrival event, a chance at the crown and prize package, and the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in scholarships!

Returning titleholders: If you are keeping the same title, you may use the same sash. Your deposit will be $100 to secure the same title! Total registration cost will be $400 if you keep the same title and sash!

New titleholders: If you would like your sash now, the deposit is $175. Please understand these are custom made sashes and will take between 5-6 weeks. If you do not want your sash until January, the deposit is $100.

Deposit and entry fees are nonrefundable.

Scholarships & Awards:

  • Miss Missouri Volunteer will receive a $10,000 Scholarship

  • The runner-up and other scholarships/awards will be announced soon!

  • Miss Missouri Volunteer will receive an award package that will prepare her for Miss Volunteer America! Please follow our social media accounts for sponsor announcements.

  • National Sweetheart Pageant - The first runner-up will have the opportunity to compete at the National Sweetheart Pageant. If she chooses not to attend, a runner-up will be chosen in order of placement.
