Semi-Finalist at Miss Missouri Teen USA 2026

Jaycee is a student at Mississippi State University working towards her dental and orthodontics degree, and recently represented our program at the Miss Missouri Teen USA Pageant, where she was recognized as a semi-finalist.

In high school, Jaycee graduated Valedictorian of her class while also earning her Associated of Arts Degree from Mineral Area College at the same time.

Jaycee wants to own the first non-profit orthodontics office in the nation, and currently volunteers and works with the non-profit dental office Upward Smiles to help others and to be able to see what her future will look like.

Miss Spirit of Missouri Teen is in its third year for the Miss Missouri Volunteer Organization and is held the same weekend as the Miss Missouri Volunteer pageant. This is a separate pageant from Miss Missouri Teen Volunteer! The winner will have the opportunity to spend the year making appearances with our titleholders. In addition she will win the following:

  • Entry fee for Miss Missouri Teen USA or another national pageant of comparable cost

  • Pageant Prep with our Board of Directors and sponsors

  • Official Crown and Sash

Stages of Competition:

Miss Spirit of Missouri Teen is comprised of three stages of competition:

  • Interview - 1/3 of score

    • 2-4 minute private interview with our judging panel.

  • Evening Gown - 1/3 of score

    • Contestants are judged not on the gown chosen, but how they carry themselves in the gown with poise, stage presence, and elegance.

  • Active Wear - 1/3 of score

    • Spirit Teen contestants will wear a fitness outfit of their choice and will be judged on their physical health and an active lifestyle.

      • There is no talent competition.

Pageant Details:

  • Pageant Date: December 31-January 2

  • Pageant Location: Kirkwood, MO

  • Venue: Ross Family Theater, Kirkwood Performing Arts Center

  • Pageant Type: At-Large

Contestant Requirements:

  • Contestants must be at least 14 years of age and under 19 years of age before January 1, 2027.

  • Residency: Be a resident or employee in the state of Missouri. Be a full-time student at a high school or an accredited college or university in the state of Missouri for at least 90 days.

  • Entry requirements will follow those of Miss Missouri Teen USA.

Miss Spirit of Missouri Teen Information:

  • Secure your title for the early bird price before August 31st before the price increase! Price for new contestants prior to August 31st is $400 and $350 for returning titleholders. Paying your deposit by August 31st locks in the early bird price.

  • Entry fee is $450

  • Returning titleholders: If you are keeping the same title, you may use the same sash. Your deposit will be $100 to secure your title! Total registration cost will be $400 if you keep the same title and sash! Returning titleholders must reserve their title by July 31, 2026 to guarantee their returning title. After this date, the title will become “open” for new titleholders to reserve and returning titleholders might have to purchase a new sash.

  • New titleholders: The deposit to receive a new sash is $175. Please understand these are custom made sashes and will take between 5-6 weeks.

  • Contestants will arrive on Thursday for rehearsals and participate in the Red Carpet Arrival event on Thursday evening. Competition will be Friday night and we will crown our winner that night. Contestants will participate in the production number on Saturday evening.

  • Deposit and entry fees are nonrefundable.
